Azelastine is used to relieve nasal symptoms such as runny/itching/stuffy nose, sneezing, and post-nasal drip caused by seasonal allergies and other conditions. This medication is an antihistamine. It works by blocking certain natural substances called histamines that are responsible for allergic symptoms.Do not use this medication in children younger than 2 years unless specifically directed by the doctor. To decrease the risk for serious side effects, carefully follow all of the doctor's dosage directions. Do not give other cough and cold medication that might contain the same or similar ingredients (see also Drug Interactions section). Ask your doctor or pharmacist about other ways to relieve cough and cold symptoms (e.g., saline nose drops/spray, using a humidifier or infant nasal suction bulb).How to use Azelastine NaslRead the Patient Information Leaflet provided by your pharmacist before you start using azelastine and each time you get a refill. Follow the instructions on how to properly use this medication. If you have any questions regarding the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist.Follow the instructions for properly priming the spray pump before using the bottle for the first time and if you have not used the medication for 3 or more days. Avoid spraying in your eyes.This medication is for use in your nose as directed, usually twice a day in both nostrils. For children, dosage is based on age, with younger children needing a lower dose.Use this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. Remember to use it at the same times each day. This medicine usually begins working within 3 hours of use. Medroxyprogesterone is used to treat abnormal menstruation (periods) or irregular vaginal bleeding. Medroxyprogesterone is also used to bring on a normal menstrual cycle in women who menstruated normally in the past but have not menstruated for at least 6 months and who are not pregnant or undergoing menopause (change of life). Medroxyprogesterone is also used to prevent overgrowth of the lining of the uterus (womb) and may decrease the risk of cancer of the uterus in patients who are taking estrogen. Medroxyprogesterone is in a class of medications called progestins. It works by stopping the growth of the lining of the uterus and by causing the uterus to produce certain hormones. Medroxyprogesterone comes as a tablet to take by mouth. It is usually taken once a day on certain days of a regular monthly cycle. To help you remember to take medroxyprogesterone, take it at around the same time every day on the days you are scheduled to take it. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take medroxyprogesterone exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor. This medication is used to improve the appearance of the skin by reducing fine lines and wrinkles, reducing roughness, and improving skin color. It should be used with a skin care and sunlight-avoidance program that includes moisturizer and daily use of an effective sunscreen (minimum SPF 15).Tretinoin belongs to a class of medications called retinoids. It works by affecting the growth of skin cells. Tretinoin does not repair sun-damaged skin or reverse aging due to sun exposure.OTHER USES: This section contains uses of this drug that are not listed in the approved professional labeling for the drug but that may be prescribed by your health care professional. Use this drug for a condition that is listed in this section only if it has been so prescribed by your health care professional.Your doctor may use this medication to treat other skin conditions, including acne.How to use Tretinoin (Emollient) TopRead the Patient Information Leaflet available from your pharmacist before you start using this medication and each time you get a refill. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.Gently clean your face with a mild or soapless cleanser and pat skin dry. Wait 20-30 minutes before applying this medication. Apply a pea-sized amount of cream, using just enough to cover your entire face lightly, usually once a day before bedtime or as directed by your doctor. Be careful to avoid your eyes, nostrils and mouth. Do not wash your face or apply another skin care product for at least 1 hour after using this product.Do not use more of this medication than prescribed or use in larger amounts. It will not give you faster or better results, but will increase the risk of developing redness, peeling and pain. Do not use on cut, scraped, sunburned, or eczema-affected skin.Avoid getting this medication in your eyes. If this medication gets into your eyes, flush with large amounts of water. Call your doctor if eye irritation develops. Wash your hands after using the medication to avoid accidentally getting it in your eyes.Effects of this medication will appear slowly, with most improvement seen in the first 6 months of use.If used for acne, your condition may worsen at first, then improve.Tretinoin (Emollient) Top is used to treat the following:Fine Wrinkling of the Face, Thickening of the Outer Horny Layer of the Skin, Fine Wrinkling, Varying Shades of Excessive Coloration of a Body Part Acyclovir is used to decrease pain and speed the healing of sores or blisters in people who have varicella (chickenpox), herpes zoster (shingles; a rash that can occur in people who have had chickenpox in the past), and first-time or repeat outbreaks of genital herpes (a herpes virus infection that causes sores to form around the genitals and rectum from time to time). Acyclovir is also sometimes used to prevent outbreaks of genital herpes in people who are infected with the virus. Acyclovir is in a class of antiviral medications called synthetic nucleoside analogues. It works by stopping the spread of the herpes virus in the body. Acyclovir will not cure genital herpes and may not stop the spread of genital herpes to other people.

Stavudine is used in combination with other antiviral medications to treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection in patients with or without acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Sodium fusidate is an antibiotic that is used to treat infections caused by a type of bacteria known as staphylococci. It works by preventing these bacteria from producing proteins essential to the cell. Without these proteins the bacteria cannot grow, replicate and increase in numbers. Sodium fusidate can penetrate tissues well, so it is often used in infections of the bone (osteomyelitis) and heart, caused by staphylococci. It is often used with a second antibiotic that is active against staphylococci, particularly for severe infections and when prolonged therapy is needed, to prevent the emergence of resistant bacteria. Sumatriptan often relieves other symptoms that occur together with a migraine headache, such as nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light, and sensitivity to sound.Sumatriptan is not an ordinary pain reliever. It will not relieve any kind of pain other than migraine headaches. This medicine is usually used for people whose headaches are not relieved by acetaminophen, aspirin, or other pain relievers.Sumatriptan injection is also used to treat cluster headaches.Sumatriptan has caused serious side effects in some people, especially people who have heart or blood vessel disease. Be sure that you discuss with your doctor the risks of using this medicine as well as the good that it can do.IMIGRAN is used for: The treatment of migraine headaches with or without aura (eg, flashing lights, wavy lines, dark spots). It is also used to treat cluster headaches. Sumatriptan is a headache medicine. It is believed to work by narrowing the blood vessels around the brain. Sumatriptan also reduces substances in the body that can trigger headache pain, nausea, sensitivity to light and sound, and other migraine symptoms.Sumatriptan tablets and nasal spray are used to treat migraine headaches.Sumatriptan will only treat a headache that has already begun. It will not prevent headaches or reduce the number of attacks.Imigran is prescribed for the treatment of a migraine attack with or without the presence of an aura (visual disturbances, usually sensations of halos or flickering lights, which precede an attack). The injectable form is also used to relieve cluster headache attacks. (Cluster headaches come on in waves, then disappear for long periods of time. They are limited to one side of the head, and occur mainly in men.)Imigran cuts headaches short. It will not reduce the number of attacks you experience.IMIGRAN Tablets are not intended for the prophylactic therapy of migraine or for use in the management of hemiplegic or basilar migraine |
